Founded by Maurice Vogel, Olga Clees and Jozephina Vogel, Clees & Vogel Real Estate combines decades of entrepreneurial, financial, hospitality and international business experience. Before entering the real estate industry, we built successful businesses in sectors ranging from finance and recruitment to international trade, hospitality and property investment. 

In 2020, our passion for the Mediterranean lifestyle brought us to Spain. What started as a personal adventure soon evolved into property investments, renovation projects and hospitality ventures, including Dormir del Mar and Be Dose Alma. Through these experiences, we gained valuable insight into the Spanish property market, property development, holiday rentals and the needs of international buyers.

Maurice Vogel

Maurice Vogel is an entrepreneur with more than 35 years of international business experience in entrepreneurship, investment, project development, and real estate. As co-founder of Clees & Vogel Real Estate, he combines strategic business expertise with a passion for property investment, architecture, and Mediterranean living.

Maurice began his entrepreneurial journey in the Netherlands in 1989, building a successful company specializing in fencing systems, automation, access control, and security solutions. Driven by an international vision, he expanded operations to China in 2003, establishing direct import channels and developing long-term international partnerships. His company was successfully acquired by Ruigrok Nederland in 2009, where he remained involved as shareholder and strategic advisor until 2019.

In 2020, Maurice relocated to Spain to focus on new opportunities in real estate, property investment, and hospitality. Together with Olga Clees and Jozephina Vogel, he has been actively involved in the acquisition, renovation, development, and management of residential and hospitality projects along the Costa Blanca. Through projects such as Dormir del Mar and Be Dose Alma, he gained extensive experience in property investment, renovation, holiday rentals, and lifestyle-focused real estate concepts.

At Clees & Vogel Real Estate, Maurice specializes in helping national and international clients find villas, apartments, investment properties, and renovation opportunities in Spain. His entrepreneurial mindset, negotiation skills, and investment experience allow him to identify both lifestyle and financial potential in every property. He is particularly passionate about renovation projects, value creation, and helping clients make informed decisions when purchasing property on the Costa Blanca.

Known for his practical approach, market insight, and commitment to client satisfaction, Maurice believes that buying a property in Spain is about more than bricks and mortar. It is about creating a lifestyle, building long-term value, and enjoying everything the Mediterranean has to offer.

Outside of real estate, Maurice enjoys travelling, exploring historic cities, hiking and running in the mountains, and discovering exceptional architecture around the world. A certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor since 2007, he has explored dive destinations across the globe and remains passionate about nature, adventure, and the outdoors. He also enjoys classic cars, fine wines, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Jozephina Vogel 

Jozephina Vogel-van Es is an API-certified real estate agent and partner at Clees & Vogel Real Estate. With a background in Commercial Economics and extensive experience in the financial sector, automotive industry, and recruitment, she combines strong commercial expertise with a personal and client-focused approach.

After relocating to Spain in 2020, Jozephina dedicated herself to the Spanish real estate market. Having gone through the process herself, she understands both the practical and emotional aspects of buying a property abroad. This first-hand experience, combined with her daily work, enables her to guide international buyers with confidence and care.

Together with Olga Clees and Maurice Vogel, Jozephina has been involved in a variety of property investment, renovation, and development projects, including Dormir del Mar and Be Dose Alma. These projects have provided her with valuable expertise in real estate investment, holiday rentals, property development, and every stage of the property buying process in Spain.

At Clees & Vogel Real Estate, Jozephina primarily assists Dutch, Belgian, and German-speaking clients in purchasing villas, apartments, new-build properties, and investment opportunities along the Costa Blanca and Costa Cálida. She believes that buying a home in Spain is about far more than purchasing real estate—it's about creating a new lifestyle and embracing a new chapter in life.

Her goal is to make every property purchase as smooth, transparent, and enjoyable as possible. From the first viewing through to the final completion at the notary, Jozephina is committed to providing professional guidance, clear communication, and personal support throughout the entire journey.
